Do not swallow.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Storing the TURBUHALER:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">After each use, replace the white cover and screw it firmly into place.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Store the TURBUHALER in a dry place at room temperature between 20-25\u00b0C (68-77\u00b0F).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Store the TURBUHALER in a safe place out of reach of young children.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>What is a metered-dose inhaler?<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">A metered-dose inhaler is a device that helps deliver a specific amount of medication to your lungs and is commonly used to treat asthma. Each inhaler consists of a pressurized canister of medication and a mouthpiece. Pressing down on the inhaler releases a spray of medication that you breathe into your lungs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>How can I use a metered-dose inhaler correctly?<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">A. Open your mouth. Hold the inhaler 2-4 cm away from you.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">B. Use the spacer attached to the inhaler.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Remove the cap and hold the inhaler upright.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Shake the inhaler.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Hold the inhaler as shown in pictures A or B.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Spacers are useful for all patients, especially young children and the elderly (see picture B).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Press down on the inhaler to release the medication, and at that moment begin to inhale slowly.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Breathe in slowly for 3 to 5 seconds.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Hold your breath for 10 seconds to allow the medication to go deep into the lungs.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Repeat the puff as directed.
