How to Use Nasal Spray<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Steps for using pressurized aerosol canisters<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    Gently blow your nose to clear it of mucus before using the medication.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Ensure the canister is comfortably aligned with the holder.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Shake the canister several times just before use.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Keep your head upright.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    Use your finger to close the nostril on the side not receiving the treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  6. \n

    Press down on the bottom of the canister as you begin to breathe in slowly through your nose.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  7. \n

    Repeat these steps for the other nostril.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Try not to sneeze or blow your nose immediately after using the spray.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Aim straight: Point the nozzle of the nasal spray toward the back of your head. If the spray is not straight, you will waste the medication and may cause further nasal irritation.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        If nasal pain persists, or if your nose starts to bleed or you experience tingling inside the nose, then stop using the spray for one to two days.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n
